I dedicate this post to you. I love you so much-y!

I love how you love and appreciate my baking/cooking. That one time I was baking choc dessert till late night, and you finished them all despite it's late night AND it's super sweet AND it's super fattening. The expression on your face is just priceless. I knew the dessert could be better, but the smile you have...It motivated me =) It was saying "it's SOOOOOOO yummy!!!"

I love how you don't care about what silly diet plan or calorie count and how you appreciate things given to you. Can't wait to go home and make you your favourite pizza, banana cake & almond biscotti/choc mud cake/pretty fondant cake for you... Sorry if I make you too fat! xP

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it. 2. I wish I didn't work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly,in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved.Everyone misses their friends when they are dying. It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip.But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks,love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have sillyness in their life again. When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again,long before you are dying.

P.S: Not that I haven't been procrastinating enough >.<

So much going on in my head,

I seriously need to concentrate on my assignments and exams.

Why issues keep popping up come exam time?! This is not the first time and the stress is nauseating. I'm selfish to ask for this, but God, please help me. I really need an indication, a sign, or something, anything, to tell me that I'm doing the right thing. I'm THAT confused that I don't even know what I want. The thing is, I can't even read my own heart.

Oh how I wish I'm one of those who can retain knowledge so quickly! So hard to juggle between my life, studies, family and everything else.

The pressure is on. FULL ON.

I even hate myself for doing this right now. Urgh.

Okay.One word.Bad.
It supposed to be spring but apparently not. At this very moment I am shivering and trying hard to type with my numb fingers. Well,this is just bcoz i can't be bothered to on the heater. Mayb can help me to lose some weight!!muahahha~~
It's been raining everday.Yesterday was worst.The rain seemed to keep pouring down every second.I mean,come on!!It was the AFL Grand Finale celebration!!It's footy btw.My poor friends who actually went to the parade were soaking wet.Poor them.HOpe they don't catch a cold~~That'll be bad!!

Holiday experiences
Not much.If u consider staying at home and online and sleep are much of a lifefulling experience,then maybe...not.haha~~It's been a week but didn't really do much.I know I need to catch up in my studies but holiday man!! need some rest to recharge as well.Or else>>> flattened battery.Oh ya!!I did the most Malaysian thing recently>>>celebrate hari raya with my malaysian fren's open house.Thank u Farah and Nana. The food was awesome!!love your cookies!!kudos to them!they actually missed their beauty sleep to make them!! PLUS
We wore baju kebaya/kurung!!Had great fun.

The next day,rou yee and I went out shopping while waiting for the guys to come.BOught my first pair of black "ballet style" shoe. Managed to get it for 15 dollars!!Happy~~
Lunch at Rich Maha,had roti canai!!um um~~but actually wanted to go to this jap rest at first but too packed.oh well,either way, I enjoyed it.Then, we went to Collins st(seldom go there coz it's like the most high-class, luxurious street) for desert. Lindt. Apparently it is so expensive here. Had choc lava cake and stole some hot chocalate & choc shake from frens. haha~~so chocolaty~~Hyper after the desert.
Would you imagine a small cake the size of ur water bottle circumference and the height of two bread(mayb 1.5)stacked togetha cost about 15 dollars(maybe more, ~RM50)???!?!?!Well,tat's how the desert cost there.
And then.....I know I should end this Food-hunting topic now but one more plz...
We walked all the way to lygon st(so called italian st) to hunt for the famous gelato.BUT~~~it is closed on Mondays.how disappointing. WEnt back to melbourne cent again and had gelato there instead.
THE RESULT OF THE DAY>>>>One fat pig(luckily we shared the desert in Lindt or else it'll be a hippo)

Last friday went to watch 3D UP.Love it sooooo much!Highly recommended to all age groups.The little boy is sososoosososo cute!!

Afterthoughts
There's been ups and downs. Well, I guess life's like tat. All I can do is emo for a while then move ahead. Look forward, for that's wat in store for you.The past had done its part.No point lingering with the past. CArpe diem! Live your day.

We are actually feeding our cars before feeding our own kind. What kind of logic is that?!?!?!

Greed is a poison. Greed is a piece of hell.
So,
listen up greedy people...
Go back to where you belong.
Don't build your own greedy satisfaction on the life of the other.
If you save $4ooo from buying yourself a Gucci bag or whatsoever and give the money to the others, you can actually feed up to 500 people for a month. That's a month more of living without the worry that you may die of hunger tomorrow to them.

The end of the world begins when the things that matter stop being a matter.

Wanna forget about it...

I CAN'T!!!
My head is full of the thoughts of ISAT...3 hrs of nightmare...
I think I screw up my test.Seriously,I am not so confident now...
Clayton Monash Medical School is the place I want to go,please let me...
If I am the top 20,it is miracle...I hope it happens...
What I need to do now is to believe that miracles happen.
God!!!

I don't know for what reason,my brains are not functioning very well yesterday...
Or maybe my brains are not that well at the first place...
But...I did practice on UMAT questions which are said to be similar...AND,it turned out NOT.
I was pretty confident about my non-verbal reasoning,I was aiming that maybe I can get full mark for that part and cover my weakness in other parts....BUT....There was NO non-verbal reasoning questions at all.....NOT even the SHADOWS of it!!!!URGHHHH!!!!

I hate myself so much after ISAT.
I want one more try.
I hate my perfomance.
I hate how I lose the marks which I shouldn't.

Met lots of new friends there.One of them knows my circle of friends!A malay girl who speaks mandarin.She said she's from SRJK(c) Tman Rasnah.Ttt...What a small world.
Shi Jie introduced me to her JB friend.Ya,JB.I still can't figure out why he would bother to travel to Putrajaya.

The interview was ok.Fun if I were to compare that to my ASEAN scholarship interview.I think I did ok but still....It's just 5 marks out of 100.Nothing significant.

First time wearing baju kurung.It was so comfortable.haha.Act like an anak Malaysia la.haha

When I came out of the room,I was so happy that it's done that I forgot all about my note book.It has all the data I collected!And I left...Phoned up my friend to take it for me..but....it was gone...Sad~~I need to be more carefull with my stuffs...Thank god it's just a note book.

Yesterday---Went out with cheow ching.It's been ages since the last time we hang out. Ate Japanese food (basically,we eat japanese food everytime we go out.haha.it just happens.dunno why) and watched the Confessions of A Shopaholic.Nice and funny.Romantic~~I hope my Mr.Right can find his way to me soon.This Mr Right has to be someone who understands me, and loves me being me.And...the list is long.but these are the most important ones~~

Snapping back from day dreaming...back to reality.I am so excited that I'm going somewhere this weekend!!Honestly,staying at home with nth better to do is quite boring.Time pass slower than the times that I am studying in college.Study life is still better although sometimes it gets a bit stressful.

Night---Watched CSI back to back.Went to bed at 12am.

1 March,I went out for Italian dinner with a bunch of hostel friends on Lygon St.I must say it's THE Italian ST thus we all had a hard time choosing one.At last!We just pick one that give us complimentary drinks------WINE!!!

The pasta n pizza were superb especially the seafood one.It's been a long time since I had salmon(which is funny that mel has tonnes of salmon).It's just that u hardly or should I say never get one for hostel food.Then,walked straight down the st,viola!It's THE FAMOUS GELATO of melb!!How could I resist it?I had THE DURIAN flavour n Roche flavour.MmmmMM~~

Headed back to hostel to chat for a while.Took some crazy pics with Tina's camera.She's kind of drunk although it's just a serving of wine(she never drank b4).I had a friend from SEremban celebrating her birthday so we got to eat Boston cake.Had a big piece n my tummy is bursting.

Around 11pm,we went out to Yarra river.Bought beer on the way.Had a long walk along Yarra river till I couldn't feel my feet(regretted wearing heels!!).At 12am(exactly)BOOM!Here comes the surprise cake from my friends.We sat on a bench n started thinking how we should eat it(Yan actually forgot bout the knife!)haha.

Beer n chocolate mud cake.n the mixture of food I had b4=FAT.but who cares?it's once a year thingy.

It's past 12 n I'm 18!!So.....I went into the casino at The Crown with my friends who are already past18(of coz).A new experience!

B4 I slumped on my bed,here come messages from friends from malaysia...Aha!They do remember.It's really nice of you to call me,though,eng wee.Thanks!

Next week I'll be having tests again.How consistent are they?I wish the holiday n play time are as consistent as THAT.Anyways,work smart guys~~

At last!I am free to blog.but i guess the next post will not be out so soon.Kinda busy and gotta save bytes..haha.Money matters...It's expensive to live in Melbourne,lol.

There's lots in my mind now.so,how can I begin....

Life in col is so routined.It's 8 in the morning and back to hostel in 5pm.
Weather in Melbourne is crazy.Worse than a woman's behavior.It's 40 over degrees in the day n night it's less than 35.I hate the heatwave here.It sucks all your energy.so,basically,u just try to sleep through it(if u manage to)

I love my bio,chem n math teacher.Phy is ok,but could be better.My math teacher is from Italy.he has this funny accent n a wacky way of teaching.Haha.He's a crazy guy.

I hope that my col have more white people.I mean,there's too much china ppl here.Oh god!Sorry chiao ying,I couldn't find you a white boyfriend,there's none.Almost all asians here.

Wat an experience!

Today is totally not an uneventful day,it's quite the 180degree of it.Firstly,I started my day with muffins n nutella with coffee.Then,out we went to melbourne city,to my hostel actually.When I reached there,I bumped upon a girl who was checking in.She's from Cameron highlands,MALAYSIA!At last there's someone coming from my country.She's doing MUFY too,but of different subjects.

In the afternoon,we went for lunch at STATLETITES(if i'm not mistaken).We had this lamb n chicken kebab which taste heavenly.Yummy~~Then only we found out that this restaurant had had award for their kebabs.MMmm~~

Then,we went to open a bank acc(which bore me n sucks my energy after surveying those banks).Hey,I was travelling on foot all the time,ok.It was super duper tiring!!Later we went for mobile broadband survey.I was so exhausted that I decided to call it a day.We went for vietnam dinner.

Ok,here comes the extraordinary experience.One of a lifetime,I think.When we were walking from train station to our living place,it was extremely sunny(it's already 7.30pm).And when my dad was opening the door,he went 'uh uh'.We can't open it!U see,their doorknob is different from malaysia's,u shouldn't press the lock inside the room.That's what my dad did this morning and now we can't get inside.Major crisis here.We tried the windows,doors n asking for help.But to no avail.Then,here comes an idea of calling a locksmith.Do u know how well they earn?It's a minimum charge of Aus$165,if u want to change anything it's way higher.I was like,'OK~~Call u back later.'

Luckily,I asked for a screwdriver from Diana(neighbour upstairs) n my dad used it to lift up a stuck door at the side and VIOLA! we can enter the house now.Thank god!!Phew~~

In I got n I immediately open up my blog n say,'tat's so going to be in my blog'.N here it is.
It's 8sth now,but the sun is still setting.I guess it's because it's summer here.

Second day in Melbourne

Yeah~~I survived 2 days in this foreign land.Luckily I have my dad with me,ease my homesick a looootttt!!!Really,distance do make the heart grow fonder,I love my mom,sister n brother even more.

Yesterday caiyi n shiao haln came to send me off(they JUST arrived from sing).Of course,cheow ching was there too.This means a lot to me.Thank you my dear friends.

Throughout the flight I ate n watched movie n slept.A perfect combination to make someone fat!haha.Who cares anyway.I watched Pride and Prejudice(finally!) n Beverly hills Chi Hua Hua(cute dogs dominate this show ).The flight took me 7 hrs and 20 mins.Oh ya,I get to drink some alcohol(under parent's guidance one,ok).

As I haven't apply a new phone number yet,u guys can contact me using my old hp no.Will let u know when I have one.

Went to have a look at my hostel.It was ok,not very huge.I am suppose to share it with a korean girl.We have double decker beds,u know.I am taking the upper one.Nice!

The food here is not cheap!It's 8-9 aus dollors for rice or noodle.So,when u convert it to RM,it's about 20 sth!but some the portion is quite big la,I n my dad were like 'WOW,ok'.We shared one of those n ordered vege at Aus$9.EXPENSIVE!!

I love my dad.I feel more at home when I eat with him,make milo for him,walk with him,hold his hands,take train with him,talk to him, go shopping for groceries with him...Got his protection n care...

Oh ya,when we were in Safeway(it is a supermarket) to buy our breakfast n we were queuing up to pay,here came a staff n she asked us to help our self at the self service counter.We went 'huh??' n she showed us rows of counters where ppl were scanning their stuff n paying through machines.We went 'ok,tat's totally not malaysian stlye.coz i think if this self paying counter is practise in msia,cheating is a sure thing.So,we first timers took a while to find out how this self paying machine works.haha.quite cool tho.

Firstly,it is 2.14am now.cheow ching is lazying on my bed.

I am so wide awake now...because:

Less than 12 hours from now I'm going to be on a plane, heading to a foreign land.So nervous.
I had a mini farewell party with some of my close friends.The gifts,the cards...I have no courage to read them in front of my friends.I'm afraid I'll give way to my tears.Thanks eng wee,loon han,mei ching,chiao ying,kay xin(too bad u can't come),cheow ching,ru xuan,yun min and cheau yin.You guys remind me of friendship,a priceless treasure.Like what eng wee had said,'go there and make new friends but when u come back don't forget us'.I mean,how can I forget those sweet memories we had together,so pure and so true.
Oh ya.Pay attention now.When I was driving home,I was hit by a drunkard.Damn it!!!Luckily cheow ching was beside me,cause at that moment I was stupefied.Mind was rushing and adrenaline was pumping through every veins.I can't think...SCARY~~ when cheow ching called eng wee he thought we were joking(can't blame him,I once pranked him.haha)anyways,thanks for being so caring.I was okay after that.What an experience before I leave this place.I guess I won't forget this place...
Last minute packing.Just finished it.I hope I doesn't miss anything.

Just now I received cheau yin's card.It has touched my heart so deeply.Those pics we took last year reminds me of the good old times we had together.ah,life was good and will be better,isn't it so?

Went out for supper.We ate chow mien.so delicious.I have not much chance to eat such delicacies after this.sob sob.

Tomorrow night going out to meet up with some friends one last time.Then,we'll only meet end of the year.

Nyonya buffet with relatives and friends

Tonight was awesome.I truly appreciate the love of my relatives.I know that I've been quite passive in the relationship with them (not much things to say),normally I sat reading instead of chatting.But...tonight I know that they care for me and their blessings touched my heart.I want to thank them for the ang paus,comforter(now I don't need to buy one!),scarf,cards...They mean a lot to me.

Firstly,thank you Cheow Ching for the piggie.It means a lot to me.Knowing that u have one too yourself,this little piggie will be with me to aus so that it'll take your place when I need you(although you r still worthier than it).The paper u wrote ur message on is thin and ordinary,but it is priceless to me.I treasure ur blessings n friendship.Aligato gozaimasta,my little Japanese-food-fanatic friend.

First thing in the morn,of course,I treat my tummy with muesli breakfast n then,...I started my packing ordeal.No,I should say I started raiding my closet.Shirts,skirts,trousers,under garments...all were spread out on my bed,not a single space is left out.OMG.Now I know how many clothes I have.They were in heaps.haha.U know wat?Packing clothes could be the next hit in a slimming prog.I was perspiring profusely and I'm not even half done!What a workout.

I was left alone at home the whole day.BOred...I watched Pathology(notice:kids are not allowed to watch this).I must say it's a mixture of sex making scene and ruthless killing.Sickening.After that,I had a noon nap.It must be a century ago since my last one.I only slept coz of boredom plus low energy after a 'morning workout'.ZZzzzz....

Tomorrow night I'm having a nyonya buffet dinner with relatives and some close friends.I hope they can come.So much of the transport problem.Hmm...

6.45am...I woke up staring at my ceiling...9 more days to go...

7.30am...Awoke from my day dream...wat can i do?gotta clean myself n get ready to go to mid valley...

9.30am...Met up with cc n took KTM to midvalley

We spent whole day shopping...until my legs were numb as if they were not mine.Every single minute n second, I cherish it wholeheartedly...At the same time,thinking bout my other friends..."How are they doing lately??"I asked myself thousands of times.

1pm...Had lunch together with jinyin n suejean(both in office wear so just imagine 2 adults 2 children havin chicken rice,haha)It was nice.

7.35pm...Had dinner then we had baskin robbins' ice-cream.Yummy~~a guy offered me to come again n he will treat me with free ice-cream.wow~~but...i guess i have no time.hehe.

8.20pm...Left midvalley.the KTM was packed.Had to stand.OH GOSH!

10pm...Called NEW.talked bout his college stuff...he doesn't sound tat cheerful(I guess it's a new lifestyle n ppl need time to achieve a new comfort zone.anyways,all the best to ya all!)

11.27pm...Still wide awake n blogging.Can't sleep.

What a bombshell!!I just purchased my ticket online and it is set to be next saturday!!!OMG!!!It's soooooo SOON.(Do you realise I'll be in aus during Chinese New Year?!That means no ang pow for me!!sob sob) The flight will depart at 9.55am.at this second i thought...will my friends be there??will they even know that i'm leaving???

Leaving such a familiar place and routined lifestyle (bye bye comfort zone,bye bye my dear friends), to a foreign environment is both exciting and intimidating.My anxiety has reached a level so high that I can't fall asleep and wake up without thinking about my next huge step.I start questioning myself whether I had made the right decision, whether I can excel over there, whether I will get helpful friends, whether...Everything is in the case of UNKNOWN.

Oh GOD!!!I have too little time to do so many things.Within this and next week, I have to: catch with my friends, buy laptop, apply for 30kg baggage allowance, buy clothes, stationary, go out with friends...If i go on this will take me hours to complete. Gosh, how am i going to hang out with friends who start studying and working? Everyone seems to be busy with their own stuff...Just now tried to contact NEW but no answer.I guess he's asleep coz tomorrow is his first day in college. (All the best to friends who started their college life!GOOD LUCK!!) Haiz, well I guess I need to contact them some other time.

Living my dreams... great sacrifices are inevitable and are part of the parcel.Well, is it worth it?This, is proven to be controversial.
